Beckfoot Allerton are looking to recruit an outstanding Teaching Assistant to work within their primary setting.
Salary: SCP 22-25 (£21,074 - £23,111 per annum). Actual salary £13,722 - £15,048.
Hours: 28.75 hrs per week term time only.
Beckfoot Oakbank are seeking to appoint a Cover Supervisor.
Cover Supervisors provide classroom cover for short term periods of absence by a class teacher. They play a vital role in the school, enabling every student in every lesson to make great progress.
A Cover Supervisor's main responsibility is to deliver the set work provided, ensuring that students remain on task and assisting them with their learning. Although this position requires no ‘active teaching’ (for example, planning, marking or assessment), it is expected that you support all students to complete the work to the best of their ability.
The successful candidate will:
* Possess excellent behaviour and classroom management skills
* Be able to deliver lessons to a high standard
* Be patient, calm and work well under pressure
* Be creative, flexible and approachable
* Be organised and able to follow direction
* Be resourceful and able to think on their feet
* Be punctual when arriving at school and for individual lessons
* Communicate confidently and effectively with students and other staff.
You should have at least 3 years’ experience of working with students of a secondary school age, with a recognised relevant qualification or equivalent experience at Level III NVQ, GNVQ GCE Advanced Level.

Beckfoot Phoenix Primary Special School are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and hardworking individual with excellent communication skills to join our school.
Beckfoot Phoenix is part of the Beckfoot Trust and is a generic primary school and nursery for 102 children with severe and complex learning and medical needs. It is co-located with Merlin Top Primary Academy.
Most pupils who come to Beckfoot Phoenix have a Statement of Special Educational Need or an Education, Health and Care Plan. It is essential that you have compassion and empathy when dealing with our children and their families, embracing the ethos and values of our school.
The role is critical to ensuring efficient and successful administration services are delivered to our school staff. The candidate will be an organised team player, with the ability to work under their own initiative.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations ensuring a smooth work flow of all administration tasks within the admin functions that support our pupils and teaching staff. You will also be responsible for overseeing the site team and working closely with the caretaker.
Always being prepared, in control and confident will be key to this busy role and you will be the go-to person for the whole business admin support function. You will have an oversight of the whole business, and will be working with a small close-knit fun, friendly and professional school team!
As the Office Manager you will be required to take an active role within the Admin and Site Teams to support the school through a variety of tasks. You will also be working closely with the Cluster Business Manager to drive efficiencies in both time and costs through the review and introduction of new processes and procedures.
This role is ideal for someone with an innovative, questioning mind to deliver sustainable solutions to future proof the Business Support Services as the school develops.

Casual Special Needs Teaching Assistants
We are looking for teaching assistants who want to make a difference in the lives of children with severe and profound learning difficulties.
Beckfoot Phoenix school is a primary special school looking for special needs teaching assistants who want to be part of an aspiring outstanding team.
Previous experience in a special school is not essential but an understanding of autism, early years provision and child development would be preferable.
You will support teaching and learning within the classroom and the local community. You will also be required to assist with care needs.
As a ‘new build’ school with excellent facilities and a highly specialised and committed staff team we offer the successful applicant valuable experience in a special school setting, professional development within the area of SEN and a supportive staff team.
