End of Year Celebration - Schools Pandemic Recovery

Thank you to all who took part in the end of year event to celebrate the work from Bradford students on Poverty and Disadvantage, LGBTQ+, Mental Health and Anti Racism. 

This has been a year of positive community action, with our young people meeting with powerful civic influencers from private and public sector to secure support on the issues that matter to them.

Thank you to Citizens UK for facilitating this work and for guiding our school communities in the development of Bradford Citizens, a community action group which will continue and widen the work of the Pandemic Recovery Initiative. 

Our thanks to Born in Bradford, Young in Covid and Tracy Brabin Mayor of West Yorkshire for attending the event  today and to all who have supported the work this year. But most especially thanks to our young people who have spoken out to make positive change for all in our community.
