Beckfoot Allerton: Adventures of Bradford Workshop

This week, Year 5 pupils at Beckfoot Allerton Primary School and Nursery discovered their creative voices as authors at the Adventures of Bradford Workshop. Pupils embraced the idea that in storytelling, anything is possible, and children developed their very own stories.

Pupils spent the day engaged in a structured creative process, crafting original narratives, developing exciting and distinctive main characters, and defining companions to accompany them on their adventures.

Through collaborative feedback sessions, pupils enriched their storylines with vibrant details, strengthened their characters, and defined themes that were meaningful to them.

During the afternoon, our budding authors refined their drafts and created their very own illustrations to define their imaginative world and create their final product.

We want to extend a huge thank you to Kate Markland for giving her time to our pupils, and delivering this insightful and imaginative workshop to our pupils.
